  Sometimes remembering who you are feels like looking into a reflection without recalling what you were initially looking for. This depression has been one of the most unraveling experience to begin 2026. It has been sorrowful, lethargic, aggressive, and in a lot of ways entirely enigmatic. I don't know when it begins or ends but I think in the reaching for happiness and savoring of joy when it comes there can be found an emptional improvement which is inevitable.

Trying an oil style painting digitally. It is slow going but I think it is coming together nciely. The windows seem to be causing the most apprehension but I suppose there is no way around it apart from doing the darn thing. :) Checking in. - Liz

 Did a quick and messy study. I have been having such a hard time lately with the time and effort clean lineart takes. Sometimes it feels like the art I make needs to be polished to be worth painting. Probably why I forget to send up WIPs all the time but - I like the mess. I kinda hope it stays.  Just sit with it. - Liz
